The Prince Maximilian

The Prince Maximilian on Commercial Road in Prahran, is a stylish, freshly renovated bar and restaurant steeped in history. Returned to its former glory, The Prince Maximilian Bar & Restaurant is a social hub in Prahran once more. The restaurant serves amazing food with flavours created by chef, Adrian Kosylo, which will put the venue in good stead for awards, once the word gets out.

Jono Francisco a well known promoter of events, music and everything fashionable, has joined the team at The Max; as the bar is also known. He brings a wealth of entertainment experience to launch the new 2 the Max nights both Fridays and Saturdays. The dinner crowd now have every excuse to stay on till 1AM to listen to Melbourne’s best live performers.

The upright piano has its ivories come alive, played by the best pianists in town and singers including Angela Librandi, Rebecca Mendoza, Jerson Trinidad, Baby Lemonade Lamarr and even Jono Francisco himself, a jazz stylist, will have the bar vibing every week. Top legendary DJ’s, Arlen De Silva (Freakazoid) will keep the party going till late.

Whether it is after work drinks, dinner and then cocktails, pre disco meet up or a night out in itself, 2 the Max attracts a well heeled crowd of fashion types being close to trhe fashion Mecca of Chapel Street.
