The Key Club

Melbourne’s Hot New Nightspot!

Melbourne’s hottest new cocktail bar and club, The Key Club, will open its doors to the city’s elite, during a special launch party on February 22, in the CBD.

With a VIP list including popular celebrity and media personalities from all over the city, guests will be treated to a night of cocktails, tapas delicacies and entertainment as they lap up the extravagant new nighttime venue.

Drawing inspiration from ‘the looking glass’, the popular sequel to Alice in Wonderland and blending it with his travels abroad, manager, Gehan Rajapakse, wanted to develop a high-end service similar to what you would expect to see in Las Vegas or New York.

With a lavish interior that is an elegant blend of sophistication and class, The Key Club is complete with two bars, an indoor garden room, VIP tables, booths, and an exclusive VIP high roller room where you’ll be treated like a star! Forget going to the bar to place your order – in the high roller room you’ll be able to order drinks and food directly through an iPad (coming soon)!

While Friday nights will be a mix of up-market after work drinks and fashion-savvy socialites enjoying upbeat tunes and a unique blend of live music with instrumentals playing over the DJ; Saturday night is club night, featuring some of Melbourne’s best DJs playing music to get everyone on the dance floor. Highly trained bar staff will skillfully handcraft cocktails with precision ensuring The Key Club is the ultimate venue to let your hair down with style.

The Key Club isn’t just a club or cocktail bar, but a restaurant too, priding itself on its impressive global tapas menu developed by Head Chef, Adam Smith who has worked who has worked throughout Australia the UK and New Zealand in a variety of Brassieres, up market cafes, fine dining rooms and tapas bars.

The menu features a selection of delectable delights to tantalise your tastebuds, such as the slow braised lamb shoulder with pecorino gnocchi or the kingfish crido with red onion and lilliput capers. If you’re in a group, you can’t go past the mini wagyu burgers or perhaps a cheese or charcuterie board is more your style?
